40K HIGHLANDER MANCHE
The general idea is to have diversity on the table by having maximum one of every unit in your army.

Participants 8
Glenn
Jakke
Steve
Steven
Vincent
Pieter
Nico
Lars

Highlander Army Building
- 1500P using 1 CAD or 1 Highlander Detachment.
- Highlander Detachment: 1HQ, 1-4 Troops, 0-2 Elites, 0-2 Fast Attack, 0-2 Heavy Support, 0-1 LoW.
The Highlander Detachment has the same command benefits as a CAD.
- No named characters, FW, fortifications, SHV's or GC's.
- All datasheets become unique.
Units must come with the minimum amount of models and may not be increased.
An exception is made for units that consist of less than 3 models, these units may be increased up to 3, unless they are vehicles or MC's.
Another exception is made if the models added are not the same as the "normal" models in the unit. Half, rounding up, of these may be taken.

Blood Angels Special cases.
SQUAD ALPHAEUS, RAPHEN’S DEATH COMPANY and CASSOR THE DAMNED
count as a Terminator, a Death Company and a death company dreadnought datasheet respectively.

Imperial Guard Special cases.
A tank commander may be taken but will not be able to take any additional tanks with him.
Ministorum Priests, Primaris Psykers and Enginseers are not considered squads as they are independent character and can each only be taken once.
You may upgrade your company command squad with any amount of advisers: Astropath, Master of Ordnance, Officer of the Fleet.
You may purchase a commissar to be bound to one specific unit as per his special rule while not taking up a battle role.
Note that you may still only have 1 commissar.
Every unit in a platoon becomes 0-1 unless they are mandatory then they simply become 1.
Example: INFANTRY PLATOON Composition: 1 Platoon Command, 1 Infantry, 0-1 Heavy Weapons, 0-1 Special Weapons and 0-1 Conscripts.
The Hellhound, Devil Dog and BaneWolf are considered different datasheets.
Every Leman Russ variant is considered to be a different datasheet.
Note that if you chose one variant of Leman Russ for your tank commander that you cannot take this variant again in the heavy support slot.

Tau Special Cases
You may include up to 2 Krootox Riders and up to 5 Kroot Hounds in a Kroot Carnivores squad.
Tau Drones are considered upgrades in their codex and may be purchased freely by units.

Eldar Special Cases
You may either bring 1 (windrider) warlock (leader) or 1 warlock conclave consisting of 1-3 warlocks.

Dark Eldar Special Cases
A Court of the Archon may include up to 6 models. The same models may be duplicated up to two times.

Extra available Detachments
- Codices with their own detachment that don't fit in a cad may use their own.
- Cult Mechanicus and Skitarii may form 1 Cad or Highlander Detachment together.
- Harlequins may be taken in their own Masque Detachment alongside (Dark) Eldar.
You only need 1 Troop choice instead of 3 since you only have 1 Troop option.
The Harlequins therefore will have their own command benefit separately from the Eldar.
The combined battle roles must fit inside the CAD or Highlander Detachment.

If there are any Questions, remarks, suggestion, anything at all, please let me know!

Scenarios
Every scenario will be a combination of an Eternal War and Maelstrom of War mission.
The Eternal War mission will have a custom amount of objectives worth custom VP's.
We will be using an adjusted Maelstrom of War table in all scenario's.
You can score a maximum of 2 Maelstrom objectives per turn.
All scenarios will have 6 objective markers in total, some may only be used for Maelstrom.
Mysterious objectives will not be used.
Wiping a player will result in a 20-0 score with 25 VP's going to the victor.

Scenario 1
Eternal War: crusade (6 objectives, Each player deploys 3 objectives worth 1, 2 and 3VP's.
Values noted in secret. Before rolling to seize, reveal the value of each marker.)
Maelstrom: tactical escalation
vanguard strike deployment

Scenario 2
Eternal War: crusade (4 objectives, 3VP each)
Maelstrom: cleanse and control
dawn of war deployment

Scenario 3
Eternal War: the Emperor's will (2 objectives, 4VP each) | The Relic (4VP's)
Maelstrom: contact lost
hammer and anvil deployment

Starting a game steps:
1) Army lists.
2) Discuss terrain.
3) Roll off to place objectives. **
4) Roll-off to choose table sides. **
5) Pre-game rolls: gifts, boons, psychic powers, ... *
6) Roll for warlord traits.*
7) Potential night fight roll.
8) Roll-off for deployment - Infiltrators - decide who goes first
9) Potential seize the initiative - scout moves
* Beginning with the player that chose the deployment zone.
** Scenario 3: place 4 objectives at step 3 and place the 2 Emperor's will objectives* after step 4.
