Scenario 1 : Treasure Hunting
Legends of great treasures from ancient battles draw many treasure hunters to the Badlands in search of great wealth.
But to find some, you have to dig some !
Deployment : Battle line (pg144)
Special rule :
Every core unit with entry "infantry" or "monstrous infantry" can do one digging attempt per own turn.
To be able to dig, at least one
model of the unit stayed "unoccupied" = did not rally, move, charge, shoot, cast magic or fight in close combat that turn
Hint : a unit in close combat where at least one model did not take part in the actual close combat, can make a dig attempt (if it didn't charge that turn)
(example : a unit of swordsmen in frontal combat with at the end 5x4 models left, has 10 models not participating in the battle)
The digging attempt is therefor taken at the end of one's own turn.
A digging attempt = throw 2D6. If you score a double of any number, the unit dug up treasure worth 50 victory points.
These treasure points cannot be taken away or taken over.
Victory conditions :
As normal, plus 50 points per dug up treasure
Scenario 2 : Loot and Pillage
See warhammer rulesbook page 392 with the following additions / modifications :
The Inn and the Cart start both on the central table line, both 6" away from the centre. The player who wins the roll-off for deployment decides if the cart is on his right or left of the centre.
Victory conditions :
The normal calculation is done, then the points are halved.
Both the Inn and the Cart are worth 555 points
If the delivery cart moves over the table edge, it is lost and does not return
